Independent Advocacy Qualification
Action for Advocacy is an accredited provider of the Independent Advocacy Qualification. However we are not currently running IAQ training courses.
A4A's focus for 2011-2012 is on assessing our existing candidates and seeing these candidates (previously trained by A4A) through to the completion of their IAQ awards.
If you are interested in taking an IAQ award, you will find useful information (including FAQs and links to other training providers) on the linked articles below.
In the longer term we want to develop our strategic role in relation to the Qualification by capacity building new training providers and taking a lead in reviewing and enhancing the taught elements of the course to ensure their ongoing relevance to the sector.
