3rd National IMCA Conference
Action for Advocacy held the 3rd National IMCA Conference on 18th and 19th July 2011.
With a great line up of experts in the field, the 2 days gave people lots of information to use and lots of questions to ponder on Best Interests, Best Practice and Treatment. Presentations and workshops included best interests decision making in hospital, in particular ICU, end of life issues as well as practice within residential care, and doctors perspective on treatment decisions within the MCA as well as a lively ethics committee and stimulating workshops.
