Quality Performance Mark
The Quality Performance Mark (QPM) is the only national advocacy specific quality assessment system which applies to all forms of one to one advocacy. The QPM went live in September 2008.
Pilot groups feedback has been very positive. Comments included;
"It allowed me to think very carefully about the advocacy process"
"Has helped instil awareness of quality in everything we do"
"It has made the team really think about what we are doing and why and how we evidence the work we do."
Important announcement (February 2013)
Due to circumstances beyond our control we have temporarily suspended all new applications, desk-top and site assessments and we are unable to deal with technical QPM enquiries. We are in the process of reviewing our procedures and service. We also plan to undertake work during the 2013-14 financial year to improve the QPM and produce a 3rd edition. We should be clearer about these QPM arrangements at the end of May 2013.
