Cost and Time Implications
Individual centres will cost the awards differently.
Some price training separately to the assessment process, some give a fee for the total. Please contact the individual centre you are interested in using for details on course and training costs.
Most candidates require 6 months to a year to complete the Certificate, although many will take longer. This is dependent on work/caseload and individual commitment.
We highly recommend that candidates try to complete as soon as possible, as experience has shown that those that leave it longer find it more difficult to complete and are less able to motivate themselves to continue.
Once a candidate has been registered with City and Guilds they have a maximum of three years to complete the Certificate and/or Diploma.
