Advocacy Conference - Shaping The Vision. March 2010
Action for Advocacy, Advonet, Age Concern Cymru, DAN, GAIN, and OPAAL will be hosting an Advocacy Conference on Tuesday 16th March 2010
There will also be an optional pre-conference event on the 15th, with dinner and accommodation available and plenty of networking opportunities.
Shaping The Vision will be an action-focused event aimed at producing a vision for advocacy in the next decade. The manifesto created via the event will be used to negotiate with the new Government and define a positive agenda for advocacy going forward.
The event on the 16th will allow people to have their say about topics such as:
- Access to Advocacy
- Personalisation
- Safeguarding
- Non-Instructed Advocacy
- Human Rights
- IMCA & IMHA
....and much, much more!
