WANTED! People with dementia involved in trying to make a change.

Are you are trying to make a change? Do you sign petitions? Write letters to newspapers? Keep a blog? Campaign or demonstrate? If so, Bradford Dementia Group would like your help.

We want to find out why you take part & look at how these activities affect you, your family and life generally.

To volunteer you need to:

  • Have a dementia diagnosis
  • Be interested or involved in activities which bring about change. For example: writing letters to papers, signing petitions, persuading other people to get involved in changing things, keeping a blog or website, campaigning.
  • Be prepared to talk to a researcher.
  • Be prepared to keep a diary for up to one month; you can keep a written, photo or audio diary - whichever suits you best.

In return we offer:

  • All the equipment and support you need.
  • An invitation for you and a family member to attend a public event in Bradford at the end of the study.
  • A summary of the findings.

For more information please contact Ruth on 01274 23 6468 or EJ on 01274 23 6494. If there is no answer, please leave a message and we will ring you back or email socialchange@bradford.ac.uk
